A 2012 Bay Mare! This nice mare came out of the Roeser Ranch (Jon, Dan) this mare has cow all over her pedigree! Started professionally as a 2 yr old and has been on track ever since! She took first place in the MVRCHA (Idaho) snaffle bit/ Non pro as well as a 1st place in MVRCHA (Ranch Horse Versatility) as a 3 year old! This mare is real nice and smooth on a cow and really knows how to get on her butt! Very light in the front end! She works great out of the herd. She is a real nice smooth/ slow loper! Which makes her small/ slow circles so easy for her! Any novice person will get along with her just fine! As well as someone who wants to go show tomorrow!
This mare has some great turnarounds with speed and cadence. A 70's plus maneuver. She absolutely loves to stop! She can really lay down the 11's in the dirt. Changing leads comes very natural for her, great minded, I've yet to see her come unglued EVER! She is very trainable! She also does a lot of dressage exercises, as that has been a lot of her foundation work for RCH. She has extensive training in the mountains as well! She's been on hunts, camping, trail riding, etc. crosses water up her her belly, narrow bridges, logs, you name it. I also won a versatility buckle on her. She has the very best ground manners, very respectful! Stays out of your bubble and leads up very freely. She works great off of leg cues as reining is her specialty. Slide stops with just the word Whoa! Side passes, will do diagonals, backs! All with no resistance. She is very accustomed to bathing, shoeing, worming, bridling up. Jumps right into the trailer. She will ride in a halter, snaffle, hackamore, bridle, and you still have the same horse. NO VICES!! NO ISSUES! She's a quiet, good minded mare. She is 6 years old and in the bridle. She would make a perfect non pro, High School horse, queening, or just a very well behaved trail horse. She has the foundation to go climb up the ladder and win for you! She's young enough that she will last you for lots of years to come. For more information contact Regina at 435-279-6347

“SQUAW” (2012 Percheron/APHA Cross,  Tricolor Tobiano Mare)

AGE:6 Years Old.
WEIGHT: 1,350 lbs.

Squaw is a 6 year old big, stout, flashy Percheron/Paint mare who is very gentle and loving with a quiet disposition. She is big enough to handle any situation but short enough to get on easily. I raised her from a foal on the ranch (she is out of our best dude horses) and have done all the training with her. She is broke to ride and pack.
She has been roped off of extensively. This mare has been used to drag wild range bulls off the mountain into the trailer, doctor big cows and yearlings on the ranch, drag calves to the branding fire, and has been team roped on. This mare has a very good handle and,"rides full up in the bridle." I have used her to sort cattle in the alley and corrals, and cut out in the open. She has also been used in reining and reined cow horse shows.
Squaw has been shown in both the two hand and regular 4H shows and placed well in the senior division. She placed well enough to go to the state 4H two hand show in 2016 and did well. She has also been shown in the Mountain Valley Ranch Horse circuit this past year and placed in the top 10 at every show and ranked 6th overall for the 2017 season.
This mare is very sure footed in the mountains, and has been used both as a lead horse and pack horse. I have put her in every spot in a pack string and she has handled well in all of them (she doesn't kick the horse behind her in the pack string). I have swam Squaw in Bear Lake each summer since she was broke to ride.
Squaw has also been used as a pickup Horse for both broncs and bulls and ridden in the grand entry at rodeos. My sisters (ages 5,7,9,12) ride her around just fine with little or no supervision. She is good to catch, tie, shoe, wash, hobble, high line, clip, and load. She is good to put with other horses in the pasture and trailer, she gets along with any horse in the trailer. She is not a "horsey" mare when in heat. She has also been bred, and raised a flashy tri-color tobiano filly. She is a very good mother. Squaw is very hard working and always wanting to please. She's ready to go to work in the show ring, on the ranch, or in the mountains for you and make you look good while doing it. At only 6 years old, Squaw has done it all and handled every task or situation I have put her in with ease and has kept her head through them all. I love this mare and the only reason she is for sale is to fund an LDS mission. If it wasn't for that she would not be for sale. I know she will work well for you! Sammy is a sweet grey mare with a pretty little head and nice conformation. She was family raised and owned and was started both in and out of the arena. For the past four years, she has been ridden all over the hills of Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming for trail riding, hunting, and pack trips. This girl has seen some serious views and miles on many family outdoor excursions. She has been ridden by a range of riders from beginners to experienced on the trails and did well because of her quiet disposition. Sammy is easy to catch, load, shoe, bathe and handle. She would be a great asset to any individual or family that is looking for another solid, quiet horse to add to their herd. She is quiet enough that she can be ridden daily or monthly and she’s the same horse every time. Come find us at the sale and see her in person, you’ll want to take this one home! Thanks for looking.
