Brent Kelly

Brent Kelly grew up in the small mountain community of Midway, UT. His father was a farmer and horse trainer and he, and his sweetheart Mary, now lives on the same family farm where he grew up. Mary and Brent are the proud parents of 5 children: Nancy, Jason, Van, Todd, and Hayley.

Brent is now retired and spends most of the weekdays traveling around Utah trading cattle and sheep, announcing rodeos and auctioneering. He is always on the look for quality horses and loves to ride with his children and grandchildren. He has 10 grandchildren and looks forward to each Sunday where all of his family gets together for “Nacho Sunday” and play games. He has a passion for life and an internal drive to make the Heber Valley Horse Sales the best "show" on dirt.

Brent is a retired LDS Seminary school teacher. He is a rodeo announcer in the PRCA and the RMPRA, earning the Announcer of the year in 2009 and 2010. He enjoys the thrill and action of the rodeo and doesn’t think he will ever quit. He also owned Utah Livestock Auction for 30 years. After selling the auction he started another business called Heber Valley Performance Horses. This business, along with Heber Valley Horse Sales, focus on matching the horse with the rider. "Heber Valley Horse Sales is my passion, selling quality horses is in my blood. I plan on having as many of these quality sales throughout the year, but I also have a very high quality string of horses for sale at Sage Creek. Jim and Donnette Hicks are family and I’m very appreciative and glad I’m in business with such great people."
